SUMMARY:Séminaire du thème GEODE
\nModelling to support control for fuel cell and electrolyzer system\nThe operation of fuel cells and electrolyzers involves strongly coupled multiphysics phenomena. Efficient multiphysics modelling is therefore essential for the design of advanced control strategies. In this talk\, after reviewing the main paradigms for multiphysics modelling\, a control-oriented modelling approach—ranging from model development to experimental validation—will be presented in detail. The applicability of the proposed framework will then be illustrated through several case studies. Finally\, a newly emerging control-oriented modelling paradigm\, which efficiently hybridizes governing equations with real-time data\, will be discussed. \n\n\nZhongliang Li CV :\nZhongliang Li received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University\, Beijing\, China\, in 2009 and 2011\, respectively. He obtained his PhD degree in Automation from Aix-Marseille University in 2014. From 2016 to 2022\, he was an Associate Professor at Aix-Marseille University. Since then\, he has been a Junior Professor Chair and full professor at the Université Marie et Louis Pasteur (formerly University of Franche-Comté). His research interests include multiscale multiphysics modeling\, health management and prognostics\, scientific machine learning and optimal control\, with applications to fuel cell and electrolyser systems\, electric vehicles\, and other energy systems. He has led multiple projects funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and the European Commission on these topics.
