My research focuses on several areas:

  • My research focuses on Mechanisms of antibiotic resistance in clinical strains of Pseudomonas sp. and Acinetobacter sp. (epidemiology, genetic support, transfer, phenotypic characteristics)
  • Substrates and regulation of P. aeruginosa active efflux systems (regulatory/signaling pathways, stress response)
  • Phenotypic and genotypic evolution of P. aeruginosa strains colonizing the bronchial tree of cystic fibrosis patients
  • Mechanisms of adaptation of P. aeruginosa and A. baumannii to antimicrobial peptides
