Sedimentology – Stratigraphy – Paleoenvironments – Diagenesis – Geochronology – Isotope geochemistry – Petrophysics
Presentation
My scientific interests focus on the mechanisms behind sedimentary rocks, whether or not they form reservoirs. My work involves studying the formation and diagenesis of sedimentary rocks through a combination of naturalistic observations (in the field and on core samples) and laboratory analyses (mineralogical, granulometric, organic, geochemical, petrophysical). My main objective is to reconstruct the evolution of sedimentary basins from the depositional environment to the diagenetic environment, in order to better understand the spatial distribution of facies, diagenetic modifications and, ultimately, petrophysical properties in the basin.
