Public health and epidemiology – Antibiotic resistance – Genomics – Analysis of nanoparticles from bacteria

Presentation

I graduated in Bacteriology and Medical Analysis (Colombia, 2009) and obtained a Master’s degree in Medical Molecular Biology (Argentina, 2021), during which I wrote a thesis entitled “Interaction of the M2 muscarinic receptor with non-visual arrestins and their modulation by serum antibodies in patients with chronic Chagas disease”. Finally, I obtained my PhD in Biological Sciences (Argentina, 2024), the subject of my thesis being “Extracellular vesicles and horizontal gene transfer in the adaptation of E. coli extremely resistant to antibiotics, in a ONE HEALTH context”.

Hospital research engineer since January 2025 at the Hygiene Laboratory of the CHU Jean Minjoz and on post-doctoral contract for the Management and analysis of clinical samples, in vitro model, mouse model as part of the RAMA project.
