TRAINING
The UMR staff, researchers, teacher-researchers, ITAs, BIATSS regularly follow CNRS or University of Franche-Comté training courses for a total duration of more than 400 hours per year. These training courses mainly concern preparation for competitive examinations, management tools, specific computer software, health and safety, languages and certain specific techniques (use of a chainsaw, animal experiments, etc.).
Some research activities also require special training: boat licence for sampling campaigns on lakes and rivers, B+ licence to drive with a trailer for moving equipment in the field.
