Carbon cycle – Limnology – Aquatic ecology

Presentation

My thesis project focuses on the role of water bodies in the carbon cycle. The objectives are (1) to increase data on the accumulation of organic carbon in these systems, (2) to identify the controlling factors, and (3) to understand the interactions between organic carbon burial, biodiversity and physico-chemical conditions.
