Mes recherches s’inscrivent dans le cadre de l’écotoxicologie de la faune et de l’écologie du stress et vise à comprendre les mécanismes sous-jacents à la biodisponibilité, le transfert et les effets (à différents niveaux d’organisation biologiques) des oligo-éléments, des composés organiques et des radionucléides. La partie de mes recherches portant sur les impacts des contaminants se concentre sur l’interaction entre les polluants et d’autres stress environnementaux tels que les pathogènes ou les carences en oligo-éléments essentiels, qui peuvent modifier radicalement les impacts sur les fonctions biologiques. Ces recherches sont menées sur les habitats terrestres de sites industriels ou miniers et des zones agricoles, sur divers groupes taxonomiques de la faune incluant les mammifères (petits mammifères et chauves-souris) et les oiseaux.
