Thème DYNABIO
Dynamique de la biodiversité et trajectoires fonctionnelles des écosystèmes
La croissance exponentielle de la population humaine, ainsi que l’industrialisation et l’urbanisation qui y sont associées, ont profondément altéré le fonctionnement des écosystèmes et ont entraîné la sixième extinction de masse.
L’ambition de ce thème est d’aboutir à des outils et des concepts pour diagnostiquer l’état écologique des écosystèmes, et concilier la conservation de la biodiversité et des processus fonctionnels associés avec le développement socio-économique des populations humaines, en minimisant les conflits tout en maintenant les services écosystémiques. Ces recherches nourriront les actions menées en écologie de la restauration et de la conservation, pour la réalisation d’objectifs de développement durable.

Cet axe regroupe les travaux consistant à caractériser la biodiversité locale et régionale à différentes échelles de temps et niveaux d’organisation.
Rôle fonctionnel de la biodiversité
L’analyse des relations entre rôle fonctionnel et structure des communautés pour une meilleure compréhension du rôle de la biodiversité dans le fonctionnement des écosystèmes.
Trajectoires spatio-temporelles des écosystèmes en réponse aux changements globaux
Identifier et quantifier l’influence des pressions anthropiques et des changements climatiques sur les trajectoires spatio-temporelles des écosystèmes.

La « culture du viol » chez les canards
Nous vous proposons de découvrir un passage de l’ouvrage de Loïc Bollache (Université de Bourgogne), « Quand les animaux font la guerre », paru le 8 mars 2023 aux éditions HumenSciences. Une exploration étonnante, à travers une grande variété d’exemples, des situations de conflits, d’exclusion, mais aussi de pacification qui traversent le monde animal. Dans le texte ci-dessous, extrait du chapitre consacré à la guerre des sexes, l’auteur s’intéresse aux mœurs pour le moins « dysharmoniques » des canards.
Faire du tourisme vert et nourrir les animaux : quels risques pour notre santé… et la leur ?
S’approcher des animaux sauvages est parfois tentant, mais quelques règles doivent être respectées, pour notre santé… et la leur.
Les échinococcoses, des maladies parasitaires en expansion
Depuis quelques années, les ceintures et autres coulées vertes envahissent les villes et leurs abords, ramenant de la biodiversité dans des lieux où elle avait longtemps été négligée, voire combattue. S’il est agréable de vivre dans un tel environnement, et de le partager avec nos compagnons domestiques et des animaux sauvages, il faut avoir conscience que cela signifie aussi accepter de côtoyer les microbes dont ces derniers sont les hôtes.
