Thème DYNABIO
Dynamique de la biodiversité et trajectoires fonctionnelles des écosystèmes
La croissance exponentielle de la population humaine, ainsi que l’industrialisation et l’urbanisation qui y sont associées, ont profondément altéré le fonctionnement des écosystèmes et ont entraîné la sixième extinction de masse.
L’ambition de ce thème est d’aboutir à des outils et des concepts pour diagnostiquer l’état écologique des écosystèmes, et concilier la conservation de la biodiversité et des processus fonctionnels associés avec le développement socio-économique des populations humaines, en minimisant les conflits tout en maintenant les services écosystémiques. Ces recherches nourriront les actions menées en écologie de la restauration et de la conservation, pour la réalisation d’objectifs de développement durable.

Cet axe regroupe les travaux consistant à caractériser la biodiversité locale et régionale à différentes échelles de temps et niveaux d’organisation.
Rôle fonctionnel de la biodiversité
L’analyse des relations entre rôle fonctionnel et structure des communautés pour une meilleure compréhension du rôle de la biodiversité dans le fonctionnement des écosystèmes.
Trajectoires spatio-temporelles des écosystèmes en réponse aux changements globaux
Identifier et quantifier l’influence des pressions anthropiques et des changements climatiques sur les trajectoires spatio-temporelles des écosystèmes.

5G à Paris et au Havre : deux approches distinctes pour arbitrer entre potentiel économique et incertitudes sanitaires
Certaines collectivités locales favorisent le déploiement de la 5G en misant sur les promesses faites autour de cette technologie en termes de solutions industrielles. À l’inverse, d’autres limitent son développement du fait des interrogations sur les enjeux sanitaires, voire environnementaux et sociétaux autour de la 5G. Planter une nouvelle haie ne compense pas la destruction d’une haie ancienne
La haie est revenue sur le devant de la scène médiatique : tandis que les victimes des inondations dans le Pas-de-Calais déplorent leur arrachage intempestif, les agriculteurs en colère dénoncent les mesures réglementaires entravant leur destruction.
