Présentation
Mon travail de recherche vise à mieux caractériser le fonctionnement complexe de la Zone Critique à travers une approche pluridisciplinaire. J’étudie à la fois le fonctionnement hydrogéologique et le cycle du carbone des tourbières pour améliorer notre compréhension du devenir de ces écosystèmes (et des services écosystémiques qu’ils procurent) dans le contexte de changement climatique. Plus spécifiquement, les trois axes structurant mon travail de recherche sont (1) l’hydrogéologie (interaction eaux-roche et origine de l’eau : isotopie, piézométrie, éléments dissous, bilan hydrologique), (2) les cycles biogéochimiques liés à la dynamique du carbone, et (3) la dynamique des flux de gaz à effet de serre entre le sol et l’atmosphère. Ce travail intègre plusieurs échelles, e.g. métrique (flux de gaz) à celle du bassin versant hydrogéologique en passant par l’échelle de l’écosystème.
